NELNET

I have over 20 years of design and advertising experience. I enjoy slow quiet walks on the beach and branding exercises; mostly logo design and advertising campaigns. Oh and time with my kids. But most importantly, I still have an AOL account.

Senior Copywriter/Producer

SWANSON RUSSELL

As a writer, creative director, brand strategist, and more, I’ve got more than 25 years of experience, at Swanson Russell in Lincoln, Lawrence & Schiller in Sioux Falls, SD, and HMJ & Associates in Omaha. I’ve built brands in the outdoor rec, energy, research, health care, financial services, and taco industries, and truly believe the only good work is the stuff that works for my clients.

Being a writer is only 10-15% about writing. It’s about idea generation. It’s about collaboration. It’s about casting as wide a net as possible for inspiration, and reading everything you can get your hands on. It’s about building relationships and trust with clients. So that’s what I do. And I get to work tons of talented people, from art directors and account service, to PR and media while I do it.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the next generation of creatives brings to the table.
